The Rack Electroplating Process

Rack metal plating is utilized when custom components are too large, delicate and/or precisely machined to withstand the tumbling that occurs during the barrel plating process. The rack method is a slower more labour intensive service. However, at H&E Plating Canada Ltd we have tank dimensions that are unmatched in the GTA. 12 foot long zinc and cadmium plating tanks allow our company to compensate for the rack line inefficiencies and wait times that may occur elsewhere. As the longest serving electroplater in the city of Toronto we have an extensive assortment of custom rack configurations that can be applied to any new product that arrives at our docks.
